[pt] Este trabalho investiga como o conformismo social e político dos indivíduos se relaciona com a repressão de seus impulsos naturais, criando sujeitos submissos e acríticos. Tendo como base a teoria de Wilhelm Reich que ensina que a repressão sexual foi criada para tornar os indivíduos funcionais à manutenção da ordem, culminando em adoecimento psíquico e social dos sujeitos. O trabalho parte da análise das sociedades tribais, do patriarcado, do capitalismo e do neoliberalismo, a fim de discutir como os mecanismos de controle atuam sobre o corpo e a psique humana, moldando a subjetividade para legitimar as estruturas de poder. Além disso, buscou-se refletir sobre o papel da família e do casamento na perpetuação da repressão sexual, instrumentalizada para tornar os indivíduos adaptáveis às exigências do sistema social dominante. Para Reich a existência de um discurso acerca da necessidade de criar mais repressões tem como objetivo garantir um sujeito modelo, gerando uma dinâmica que se retroalimenta e perpetua a dominação social. Acredita-se que esse trabalho possa proporcionar uma reflexão crítica sobre como os fatores sociais, econômicos e culturais impactam a saúde psíquica e emocional dos indivíduos, ajudando a refutar a ideia de que o adoecimento psíquico é uma questão individual. Além disso, ao destacar a existência de outros modelos históricos e possíveis formas de viver de maneira coletiva e harmoniosa, resgata uma visão alternativa de funcionamento social e relacional, oferecendo um caminho para reflexão crítica sobre o que se tornou naturalizado nos dias atuais.

[en] This work investigates how individuals social and political conformity relates to the repression of their natural impulses, creating submissive and uncritical subjects. It is based on the theory of Wilhelm Reich, who teaches that sexual repression was created to make individuals functional to the maintenance of order, culminating in the psychic and social illness of subjects. The work begins with the analysis of tribal societies, patriarchy, capitalism, and neoliberalism, in order to discuss how control mechanisms act on the body and human psyche, shaping subjectivity to legitimize power structures. Additionally, it seeks to reflect on the role of family and marriage in perpetuating sexual repression, instrumentalized to make individuals adaptable to the demands of the dominant social system. According to Reich, the existence of discourse about the need to create more repressions aims to ensure a model subject, generating a self-reinforcing dynamic that perpetuates social domination. It is believed that this work can provide a critical reflection on how social, economic, and cultural factors impact individuals psychic and emotional health, helping to refute the idea that psychic illness is an individual issue. Furthermore, by highlighting the existence of other historical models and possible ways of living collectively and harmoniously, it rescues an alternative vision of social and relational functioning, offering a path for critical reflection on what has become naturalized today.
