[pt] O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a reincidência penitenciária entre as travestis e mulheres transexuais privadas de liberdade na região metropolitana do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, descritiva e transversal na forma censitária envolvendo 151 entrevistadas, entre abril e junho de 2021, para descrever o perfil sociodemográfico e prisional. O teste qui-quadrado com p menor que 0,05 revelou que a escolarização foi um fator de proteção contra a reincidência (p=0,025). Entretanto, as que se prostituíam antes da prisão (p=0,045), e as que cometeram crimes de roubos (p=0,002) reincidiram com maior frequência. Resultados que reforçam o paradigma necropolítico trans em nossa sociedade.
Resumo
[en] The study aimed to analyze prison recidivism among travestis and transgender women inmates in the metropolitan region of the State of Rio de Janeiro. A quantitative,descriptive, and cross-sectional research in the form of a census involving 151 interviewees, between April and June 2021, to describe the sociodemographic and prisonprofile. The chi-square test with p lesser than 0.05 revealed that education was a protective factor against recidivism (p=0.025). However, those who prostituted themselves beforeprison (p=0.045), and those who committed robberies (p=0.002) recidivated morefrequently. Results that reinforce the trans necropolitical paradigm in our society
