Resumo
[pt] O presente artigo tem por objetivo apontar que as mulheres participaram, e participam, de forma ativa dos processos históricos – ainda que a história dita oficial diga o contrário. Ao trazer para si o título de sujeito universal, os homens se sentem no
direito de serem os únicos capazes de falar. Nesse processo, no qual constroem a imagem feminina mediante a sua perspectiva machista e estereotipada, as mulheres exercem o papel de coadjuvantes de suas próprias histórias. Por meio de um
percurso na história contra-hegemônica, sustentada pela epistemologia feminista, é possível se aproximar das vozes das mulheres, suas memórias, movimentações e lutas. Por isso, este texto traz a história da professora Suely Gomes Costa para análise.
Resumo
[en] The present article aims to point out that women participated, and still participate,
actively in historical processes even though the so-called official history, which
brings a male and white narrative, says otherwise. By bringing to themselves the
title of universal subject men feel entitled to be the only ones capable of speaking. In this process, in which they construct the female image through their sexist
and stereotypical perspective, women play the role of supporting characters in their
own stories. Through a journey through counter-hegemonic history, supported by
feminist epistemology, it is possible to get closer to womens voices, their memories,
movements and struggles. Therefore, this text brings the story of Professor Suely
Gomes Costa for analysis
