[pt] O presente artigo objetiva apresentar a incidência das ideias progressistas na vida e no trabalho em saúde mental desenvolvido por Nise da Silveira e Ivone Lara, por meio de seus vínculos com organizações coletivas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de
caráter exploratória ancorada em revisão de dissertações, teses, artigos, entrevistas e documentários. Identificou-se as expressões da resistência política, ética e social desenvolvida por ambas, tanto nos espaços coletivos ocupados quanto no trabalho
em saúde mental.
Resumo
[en] This article aims to present the incidence of progressive ideas in the life and work in
mental health developed by Nise da Silveira and Ivone Lara, through their links with
collective organizations. This is exploratory research based on a review of dissertations, theses, articles, interviews, and documentaries. The expressions of political,
ethical, and social resistance developed by both were identified, both in the collective spaces occupied and in the work in mental health.
