[pt] Relato das viagens de Lévi-Strauss, Tristes Trópicos desvela-se como objeto invulgar, cujas facetas literárias, históricas e etnográficas antes o remetem para fora de tais esferas do conhecimento, que para qualquer interior. Para demonstrar a possível situação desta obra no entrelugar da arte, intenta o presente artigo apontar indícios do diálogo que lhe propõe um construto propriamente estético: Triste Trópico, antidocumentário de Arthur Omar.
Resumo
[en] An account of Lévi-Strauss s travels, Sad Tropics is an unusual object, whose literary, historical and ethnographic facets refer it to something outside of such spheres of knowledge rather than to any interior. In order to demonstrate how this work might be situated in the threshold of art, this article aims to point out signs of the dialogue proposed with it by a properly aesthetic construct, Arthur Omar s anti-documentary Triste Trópico.
