[pt] Observa-se o aumento do número de investidores no mercado de capitais nos últimos anos, visto que, com o avanço da tecnologia e a disseminação de informações sobre investimentos, os investidores brasileiros têm se tornado mais conscientes das oportunidades de aplicações financeiras disponíveis no mercado financeiro. Além disso, os investidores têm buscado alocar uma parcela de seus recursos em ações, a fim de obter retornos mais significativos a longo prazo. Dessa forma, o presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar se a filosofia de investimento em ações que pagam dividendos de Décio Bazin seria capaz de superar a rentabilidade do índice Bovespa no longo prazo. Para isso, realizou-se uma pesquisa exploratória a partir dos dados do ano de 2014 até 2024 (31/12/2014 a 28/03/2024) referentes às cotações históricas das ações selecionadas e do índice Bovespa, e também dos proventos distribuídos no período por essas empresas. Visto isso, foi possível calcular e comparar a rentabilidade da carteira de ações com o Ibovespa no período, concluindo-se que a filosofia de investimento em ações de Décio Bazin supera o benchmark no longo prazo.

[en] It is observed the number of investors in the capital market have increased in recent years with the advancement of technology and the dissemination of information about investments, in a way Brazilian investors have become more aware of the opportunities available in the market. In addition, investors have been seeking to allocate a portion of their resources to stocks in order to achieve more significant long-term returns. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze whether Décio Bazin s investment philosophy in dividend stocks would be able to outperform the Bovespa index in the long term. For this purpose, exploratory research was conducted based on data from 2014 to 2024 regarding the historical quotation of selected stocks and the Bovespa index, as well as the dividends distributed during this period by these companies. Given this, it was possible to calculate and compare the profitability of the stock portfolio with the Ibovespa during the period; thus, it is concluded that Décio Bazin s investment philosophy outperforms the benchmark in the long term.
