Resumo
[pt] A sondagem dos significados latentes da expressão homóiosis theoi nos diálogos
República e Teeteto se constitui como o interesse central desta pesquisa. Todavia, a
explicitação de tais significados depende da inclusão do eidos e da psychê no campo
semântico do divino. Trata-se de novas divindades filosoficamente justificadas por Platão.
E é com elas que se torna possível a descoberta de significados éticos e políticos, assim
como lógicos e epistemológicos, que envolvem a expressão homóiosis theoi,
respectivamente, na República e no Teeteto. No diálogo sobre a justiça, as relações entre
alma e ideia divinas pavimentam as condições éticas e políticas que efetivam a
semelhança a deus tanto no indivíduo quanto na cidade. Por sua vez, no diálogo sobre a
ciência, alma e ideia divinas estruturam as exigências epistêmicas requeridas à assunção
da vida e experiência deificadas.
Resumo
[en] The probing of the latent meanings of the expression homoiosis theoi in the
dialogues Republic and Theaetetus constitutes the main interest of this research.
However, the explicitness of such meanings depends on including eidos and psyche in the
semantic field of the divine. These are new deities philosophically justified by Plato.
Furthermore, it is with them that it becomes possible to discover ethical, political, logical,
and epistemological meanings involving the homoiosis theoi concept, respectively, in the
Republic and the Theaetetus. In the dialogue on justice, the relations between the divine
soul and idea pave the way for the ethical and political conditions that give rise to the
likeness to god in both the individual and the city. In turn, in the dialogue on science,
divine soul and idea structure the epistemic requirements required for the assumption of
deified life and experience.
