[en] This article proposes that Christian faith is closely associated with an attitude of non-violence and tenderness, which includes navegating social networks. It is important to recognize the intensity of the destructive forces in psychic and social dynamics, as Sigmund Freud does in Civilization and its Discontents. Recognizing his or her own aggressive impulses, the Christian person is invited to welcome the Gospel proclamation and assume the attitude of Jesus, seeking creative destinations for aggressiveness, and being solidarian with those who suffer with violence. In the Encyclical Letter Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis recognizes the power of aggressiveness, to which he contrasts the call to follow Jesus, who is tender and assertive at the same time. Deeply rooted in Revelation, and attentive to concrete challenges, the Christian faith is called to be incarnated in the work for justice and peace, especially alongside the smallest, poorest and most helpless. This also means that the encounter with the Crucified-Risen One has an impact on the way Christians navigate social networks, which occupy an important place in contemporary community and emotional dynamics.

[es] Este artículo propone que la fe cristiana se encuentra íntimamente asociada a una actitud de no violencia y de ternura, que incluye la navegación en las redes sociales. Es importante reconocer la intensidad de las fuerzas destructivas en las dinámicas psíquicas y sociales, tal como lo hace Sigmund Freud en El malestar en la cultura. Reconociendo sus propios impulsos agresivos, la persona cristiana es invitada a acoger el anuncio evangélico y asumir la actitud de Jesús, buscando destinos creativos para la agresividad, y haciéndose solidario con los que sufren con la violencia. En la Carta Encíclica Fratelli Tutti, el Papa Francisco reconoce la fuerza de la agresividad, a la cual contrapone el llamado a seguirmos a Jesús, que es tierno y asertivo a la vez. Profundamente enraizada en la Revelación, y atenta a los desafíos concretos, la fe cristiana es llamada a encarnarse en el trabajo por la justicia y la paz, especialmente junto a los más pequeños, pobres y desamparados. Eso significa también que el encuentro con el Crucificado-Resucitado tiene impacto sobre el modo como los cristianos y cristianas navegamos en las redes sociales, que ocupan un lugar importante en las dinámicas comunitarias y afectivas contemporáneas.
