[pt] O Concílio Vaticano II foi um marco, no âmbito da Igreja Católica, a assinalar o encontro e diálogo da Igreja com a modernidade. Muito se tem escrito sobre o que teria significado tal diálogo, e o que ele teria produzido a posteriori na Igreja. O presente texto pretende abordar tal tema a partir do prisma da dúvida, ou seja, sem aprofundamentos mais específicos ou teóricos, mas tendo como background premissas como a da consciência e idealismo, fazer perguntas sobre o caráter de continuidade ou ruptura que o citado Concílio teria ensejado. Para tanto foram privilegiados os temas da liturgia e do diálogo com perspectivas de fé diferentes das que a Igreja Católica apresenta. A partir de tais temas, teria havido fumo de ruptura ou de continuidade em relação à Igreja pré-conciliar? Pistas para reflexões e para respostas é o que aqui apresento, ao modo de provocações, talvez polêmicas, o que, aliás, é fermento do debate acadêmico.

[en] The Second Vatican Council was a milestone, within the scope of the Catholic Church, marking the meeting and dialogue of the Church with a modernity. Much has been written about what such a dialogue would have meant, and what it would have produced a posteriori in the Church. The present text intends to approach this theme from the prism of doubt, that is, without more specific or theoretical deepening, but having as a background assumptions such as conscience and idealism, asking questions and raising doubts about the character of continuity or rupture that the mentioned Council would have given rise to. For this purpose, themes of liturgy and dialogue with perspectives of faith different from those presented by the Catholic Church were privileged. From such themes, would there have been fume of rupture or continuity in relation to the pre-conciliar Church? Clues for reflections and answers is what I present here, in the way of provocations, perhaps, polemics, which, incidentally, is the ferment of academic debate.
