[pt] Esse artigo preza pela análise messiânica da corte celestial segundo o modelo da hermenêutica patrística, observando os sinais dos mais remotos desenvolvimentos da cristologia angélica até a sua superação em virtude do combate ao arianismo durante o período do Concílio de Niceia, em 325. A abordagem deste conceito pressupõe o arco de tempo em que a teologia demorou para amadurecer a linguagem acerca da origem divina de Jesus Cristo, evidenciando a importância dos componentes históricos que partissem dos pressupostos bíblicos e se concretizassem com as definições dogmáticas conciliares. As primeiras fontes patrísticas privilegiaram os textos do Antigo Testamento, com especial atenção ao Pentateuco, de acordo com as explicações que Jesus Cristo dava de si mesmo, recorrendo às tradições judaicas, o que justifica a intenção dessas páginas em mostrar menos o valor exegético dos textos citados para poder descrever o que motivava os autores cristãos a defender a divindade do Filho de Deus. Esse artigo serve-se também da figura da corte celestial para desenvolver o tema da comunhão dos santos que integram o corpo de Cristo.

[en] The purpose of this article is to exam messianism portrayed in the celestial court metaphor according to some Church Father s hermeneutics by means of realizing the eldest development on the angelical Christology issue until it was suppress by Arian reactions throughout the Council of Nicaea. This paper goes through time-space stages that Theology has required to mature and to deepen such a terminology on the divine origin of Jesus Christ, pointing out to the importance of historical mechanisms, which had emerged out of biblical theories and had led to dogmatic definitions in subsequent Councils. The first patristic sources had the privilege of reading the Old Testament keeping the eyes on Jesus accounts of himself while He dealt with Hebrew traditions. This paper s intention is more concerned with what those ancient Christian authors felt as a motivation to defend the divinity of the Son of God than with an ordinary exegesis of the texts here quoted. In a nutshell, the celestial court metaphor is such a powerful expression to name the Communion of the Saints in Heaven for those who belong in the Body of Christ.
