[pt] Este trabalho tem o objetivo de compreender criticamente o projeto tradutório de Augusto de Campos em suas antologias de poemas de Rainer Rilke. Especificamente, analisa-se a tradução de Das Rosen-Innere e, em menor medida, de Die Insel. Discute-se a posição teórica sobre tradução de Campos, de tradução como crítica e reinvenção, e sua afinidade com a obra de Rilke, que reside na fase dos Novos Poemas. Conclui-se que a tradução ressalta o tema da liberdade, sobretudo por meio da iconicidade, ressignificada por Campos.
Resumo
[en] This work aims to critically understand the translation project of Augusto de Campos in his anthologies of poems by Rainer Rilke. Specifically, this work analyzes the translation of Das Rosen-Innere and, to a lesser extent, of Die Insel. Campos theoretical position on translation as criticism and reinvention is discussed, and its affinity with Rilke s work, which resides in the New Poems phase. It is concluded that the translation highlights the theme of freedom, especially through iconicity, resignified by Campos.
