[en] This article examines the No más Afp movement as a case study to understand contemporary activism transformation in Chile. It does so within the context of the profound political and social changes the country has undergone in recent decades. It argues that the No más Afp movement exhibits continuity with previous mobilizations. This places it within the cycle of mobilizations that characterizes contemporary Chile, with the October 2019 Social Outburst as its highest expression. Through qualitative research involving digital ethnography and interviews with movement activists, previous research findings on recent mobilizations in Chile are discussed. This reflects on the ongoing continuity of the mobilization cycle.

[es] En el presente artículo se analiza el movimiento No más Afp como un caso de estudio para comprender la transformación del activismo chileno contemporáneo en el contexto de las profundas transformaciones político-sociales que ha experimentado el país en las últimas décadas. Se argumenta que el movimiento No más Afp presenta elementos de continuidad con movilizaciones previas, posicionándolo dentro del ciclo de movilizaciones que caracteriza al Chile contemporáneo, destacando el estallido social de octubre de 2019 como su expresión máxima. A través de una investigación cualitativa que incluye etnografía digital y entrevistas con activistas del movimiento, se discuten hallazgos de investigaciones previas sobre las movilizaciones en Chile contemporáneo, reflexionando sobre la continuidad del ciclo de movilizaciones en curso.
