[pt] A polarização severa foi um dos principais traços do ciclo de protestos vivido no Brasil a partir de junho 2013. Neste artigo busca-se compreender suas raízes com base em entrevistas em profundidade com membros do Movimento Passe Livre, desencadeador das manifestações de junho de 2013, e do Movimento Brasil Livre, um dos protagonistas das manifestações pelo impeachment de Dilma Rousseff entre 2015 e 2016. A análise é realizada por meio do aparato teórico-metodológico da sociologia da experiência, de François Dubet, com vistas a evidenciar a complexidade gerada pelas distintas lógicas de ação (integração, estratégia e subjetivação) com que operam atores em posições supostamente antagônicas. A comparação das entrevistas evidencia que os atores, não obstante divergências claras, têm em comum a insatisfação generalizada com o establishment político, mas são ambíguos quanto à legitimidade de seus adversários.

[en] Severe polarization was one of the main features of the cycle of protests experienced by Brazil since June 2013. This article seeks to understand its roots based on in-depth interviews with members of the Passe Livre Movement, the trigger of the June 2013 demonstrations, and the Brasil Livre Movement, one of the protagonists of the demonstrations for the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff between 2015 and 2016. The analysis is carried out through the theoretical and methodological apparatus of the sociology of experience, by François Dubet, in order to highlight the complexity generated by the different logics of action (integration, strategy and subjectivation) with which actors in supposedly antagonistic positions operate. The comparison of the interviews evidences that the actors, notwithstanding clear divergences, have in common a generalized dissatisfaction with the political establishment, but are ambiguous about the legitimacy of their opponents.
