[pt] O artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma das contribuições do Papa Francisco, uma nova eclesiologia na dinâmica da cultura. A igreja se insere, nesse contexto como articuladora e comprometida no olhar da cultura e da fé. Deste modo, a cultura é observada como elemento importante na sociedade, há uma necessidade de diálogo e percepção dos elementos que a compõem. Após o Concílio Vaticano II, a Igreja tenta ampliar o seu diálogo com a sociedade, a cultura se renova e amplia os horizontes, a Igreja é convidada a observá-la e interagindo, ajudar o ser humano a ser melhor. O Papa Francisco se torna referência no diálogo com a cultura em uma ética do compromisso. O método usado no artigo é o dedutivo com uma metodologia qualitativa bibliográfica. O artigo possibilita a compreensão de uma ética que vai ao encontro da necessidade do ser humano. A ética do compromisso é embasada no pensamento eclesial do Papa Francisco e sua ação na sociedade. Se trata de um olhar para uma humanidade renovada e comprometida com a caridade que testemunha a esperança do Reino de Deus. Nesse cenário, o pensamento do Papa Francisco ajuda a buscar novos horizontes fundamentados na fé e na esperança.

[en] The article aims to present one of the contributions of Pope Francis a new ecclesiology in the dynamics of culture. The church is inserted in this context as an articulator and committed in the eyes of culture and faith. In this way, culture is seen as an important element in society, there is a need for dialogue and perception of the elements that compose it. After the Second Vatican Council, the Church tries to expand its dialogue with society, culture is renewed and broadens its horizons, the Church is invited to observe it and, by interacting, help human beings to be better. Pope Francis becomes a reference in dialogue with culture in an ethic of commitment. The method used in the article is deductive with a qualitative bibliographic methodology. The article makes it possible to understand an ethics that meets the needs of human beings. The ethics of commitment is based on the ecclesial thinking of Pope Francis and his action in society. It is a look at a renewed humanity committed to charity that bears witness to the hope of the Kingdom of God. In this scenario, the thinking of Pope Francis helps to seek new horizons based on faith and hope.
