[pt] O estudo teve como objetivo identificar e analisar os critérios de tomada de decisão de localização na realização de um evento de esporte eletrônico no Brasil. Para tanto foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo. A partir dos resultados obtidos, foi possível identificar que os principais fatores são a (i) presença de público-alvo no local, (ii) a oferta de infraestrutura logística e de comunicação, visto que os esports são uma competição online com alta necessidade tecnológica, (iii) beleza e história do local e (iv) distância do local até a cidade de São Paulo, tendo que vista o deslocamento das sedes das empresas até o evento.

[en] The study aimed to identify and analyze the decision-making criteria for the location of an electronic sports event in Brazil. For that, a bibliographical and field research was carried out. From the results obtained, it was possible to identify that the main factors are the (i) presence of the target audience in the place, (ii) the offer of logistics and communications infrastructure, since esports are an online competition with high technological demand, (iii) beauty and history of the location and (iv) distance from the São Paulo city, considering the movement s requirement of the companies headquarters to the event.
