[pt] O presente estudo tem como objetivo descobrir se as diferenças culturais levantadas sobre o Brasil e os Estados Unidos afetam o ambiente organizacional e, consequentemente, a produtividade dos expatriados brasileiros. Também, foram apresentados alguns conceitos importantes para o estudo com relação aos seguintes temas: Gestão no Ambiente Global, Processo de Expatriação, Cultura e Produtividade. Para o alcance do resultado foram feitas entrevistas com quatro expatriados brasileiros buscando conhecer suas percepções sobre os processos que participaram ou estão participando e quais as diferenças culturais nacionais que eles notaram que influenciam no ambiente organizacional.

[en] The main objective of this study is to discover whether the cultural differences raised about Brazil and the United States affect the organizational environment in the American country and, consequently, the productivity of Brazilian expatriates. Also, some important concepts for the study regarding the following themes were presented: Management in the Global Environment, Expatriation Process, Culture and Productivity. In order to reach the result, interviews were conducted with four Brazilian expatriates, seeking to know their perceptions about the processes that they participated or are participating in and what national cultural differences they noticed that influence the organizational environment.
