[pt] Há um amplo consenso acerca do caráter reformador do ministério pastoral de Francisco. Muitos falam, inclusive, de uma nova etapa do no processo de recepção do Concílio, depois do longo inverno ou da longa seca que se abateu na Igreja nas últimas décadas. Esse processo de conversão/renovação/reforma eclesial vem sendo analisado por vários autores sob diferentes pontos de vista: pastoral-missionário, social, moral, litúrgico, estrutural, legislativo, teológico-eclesiológico etc. Nossa reflexão está centrada na compreensão (mais ou menos explícita e elaborada) de teologia e do fazer teológico, presente nos vários escritos de Francisco, particularmente em pronunciamos dirigidos à Comissão Teológica Internacional e a eventos teológicos. Destaca sua insistência numa teologia feita no sulco aberto pelo Concílio Vaticano II, como parte da missão salvífico-evangelizadora da Igreja, em fidelidade criativa à Tradição, nas fronteiras e periferias do mundo. E mostra como isso não é uma mera questão de estilo pessoal e opcional, mas algo constitutivo e determinante da identidade da teologia e do teologizar e, portanto, algo que diz respeito ao próprio estatuto da teologia.

[en] There is broad agreement about the reforming character of Francis pastoral ministry. Many even speak of a new stage in the process of reception of the Council, after the long winter or the long drought that has hit the Church in recent decades. Various authors under different points of view have analyzed this process of ecclesial conversion/renewal/reform: pastoral-missionary, social, moral, liturgical, structural, legislative, theological-ecclesiological, etc. Our reflection is centered on the understanding (more or less explicit and elaborated) of theology and of theological making, present in the various writings of Francis, particularly in pronouncements addressed to the International Theological Commission and to theological events. It highlights his insistence on a theology done in the furrow opened by the Second Vatican Council, as part of the salvific-evangelizing mission of the Church, in creative fidelity to Tradition, on the frontiers and peripheries of the world. And it shows how this is not merely a matter of personal and optional style, but something constitutive and determinative of the identity of theology and theologizing, and therefore something that concerns the very status of theology.
