[pt] Com o contínuo aumento de pessoas físicas investindo na bolsa de valores e o crescente número de produtos financeiros, é importante saber as ferramentas a usar para decidir um investimento e qual mercado oferece melhores oportunidades. Diante disso, esse estudo pretende verificar se o mercado americano realmente oferece melhores oportunidades de investimento em relação ao mercado brasileiro através de uma análise comparativa de ETFs, onde serão ponderados rentabilidade e risco. A análise é feita com uma amostra de 14 ETFs de 7 setores de mercado distintos, dois para cada mercado, sendo um para o mercado brasileiro e outro para o mercado americano.

[en] With the continuous increase of natural persons investing in capital markets and the growing number of financial products, it s important to know the tools to use to choose an investment and which markets offers the best investing opportunities. That said, this study intends to verify if the american market really does offer better investments opportunities in relation to the brazilian market through a comparative analysis of ETFs, where it will be weighed the profitability and risk. The analysis is made with a sample of 14 ETFs from 7 different market sectors, two for each market, being one for the brazilian market and the other for the american market.
