[pt] O artigo aborda a importância de se pensar sobre os fundamentos antropológicos aplicados à bioética. Fundamento é a base e o princípio que sustenta algo. Fundamentação indica o ato ou efeito de fundamentarse, apoiar-se. Fundamentação da bioética implica buscar as definições categoriais que podem ser aplicadas à bioética. Os fundamentos enfatizam os pressupostos, preocupam-se com a conduta da reflexão moral. A bioética lida a todo instante com questões morais, especialmente, da ordem da decisão, conduta e normas morais. As ciências que trabalham diretamente com a vida e a saúde, jamais podem esquecer das exigências da ética, sobretudo, em um contexto interdisciplinar. Como articular uma reflexão filosófica e teológica para a fundamentação da bioética? É nessa perspectiva que o artigo coloca em discussão a relevância da fundamentação antropológica à bioética, em particular, a bioética compreendida desde o horizonte da concepção da dignidade, à luz da argumentação do filósofo alemão Immanuel Kant.

[en] The article addresses the importance of thinking about the anthropological ground applied to bioethics. Ground is the basis and principle that supports something. Grounding indicates the act or effect of grounding, supporting. Grounding of bioethics implies seeking categorical definitions that can be applied to bioethics. The grounding emphasizes the assumptions and are concerned about the conduct of moral reflection. Bioethics deals at all times with moral issues, especially those related to decision, conduct and moral norms. The sciences that work directly with life and health can never forget the demands of ethics, especially in an interdisciplinary context. How to articulate a philosophical and theological reflection for the grounding of bioethics? It is from this perspective that the article discusses the relevance of the anthropological grounding for bioethics, in particular, bioethics understood from the horizon of the conception of dignity, under the light of the arguments of the philosopher german Immanuel Kant.
