[pt] O presente estudo objetiva analisar as percepções de 44 participantes do evento
de extensão 9º Ciclo de cinema e diversidade a partir de 3 questões fomentadoras
do debate sobre masculinidades e sua relação com aspectos sociais. Apoiando-se
numa perspectiva ampla da inclusão e em estudos sobre masculinidades (CONNELL,
1995, 2013; KIMMEL,1998; GROSSI, 2004), identificamos a presença massiva
de um entendimento e reconhecimento sobre masculinidade majoritariamente hegemônica
e um certo desconhecimento sobre o tema, porém, percebemos avanços
em entender que há múltiplas formas de ser homem, apontando para desconstruções
necessárias a essa afirmação.

[en] The present study aims to analyze the perceptions of 44 participants of the extension
event 9th Cycle of Cinema and Diversity from 3 questions that promote discussions
about masculinities and its relation to social aspects. Based on a broad perspective
of inclusion and on studies about masculinities (CONNELL, 1995, 2013; KIMMEL,1998;
GROSSI, 2004), we identified the massive presence of an understanding and recognition
of a mostly hegemonic masculinity and a certain ignorance about the theme;
however, we noticed advances in understanding that there are multiple ways of
being a man, pointing to necessary deconstructions to this statement.
