[pt] Esta tese investiga as vivências de mães com filhos diagnosticados com TDAH a partir do referencial psicanalítico. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, por meio de entrevistas, com dez mulheres com filhos entre 7 e 12 anos de idade. Os resultados foram analisados de acordo com o método da análise de conteúdo. Das análises realizadas, emergiram cinco categorias: percepção das mães sobre a primeira infância dos filhos; percepção de mães sobre os sintomas e o diagnóstico de TDAH dos filhos; reconhecimento de sintomatologia semelhante entre o filho e membros da família; percepção das mães sobre a participação do pai no cuidado do filho; e, por fim, percepção das mães sobre as repercussões da pandemia de Covid-19 em seus filhos. Os resultados e suas análises são apresentados em quatro artigos. No primeiro investiga-se a percepção de mães acerca da primeira infância dos filhos diagnosticados com TDAH. Os dados indicam que é possível estabelecer uma relação entre dificuldades vividas na primeira infância e os sintomas de TDAH. No segundo artigo, investiga-se a percepção de mães sobre os sintomas e o diagnóstico dos filhos. Constata-se que a identificação das dificuldades nos filhos gera angústias nas mães, representando uma ferida narcísica e desencadeando sentimentos de culpa, os quais provocam uma tendência maior a se recorrer a explicações biológicas, apesar da presença de uma perspectiva menos reducionista. No terceiro artigo, investigam-se as relações entre TDAH, transmissão psíquica geracional e paternidade a partir da percepção das mães. É verificada uma relação entre TDAH, transmissão psíquica e paternidade, uma vez que em sua maioria os sintomas dos filhos são também identificados em figuras masculinas da família. No quarto artigo, investiga-se a percepção das mães a respeito das repercussões da pandemia de Covid-19 nos filhos diagnosticados com TDAH. Verifica-se um efeito negativo desse período nos filhos e é apontada uma relação entre a impossibilidade de as mães responderem de forma criativa durante esse período de crise e a manutenção da capacidade de pensar. Essas dificuldades parecem estar atreladas a questões internas e precoces das mães, que, por sua vez, podem estar relacionadas a questões dos filhos e seus sintomas. De maneira geral, as experiências das mães nos permitiram estabelecer relações entre diversos aspectos envolvidos no tema estudado, como primeira infância, questões familiares, escolares, sociais, entre outras, e os sintomas de TDAH. Concluiu-se que a partir de uma visão psicanalítica é possível investigar de forma mais ampla as repercussões de diversas dificuldades ambientais e vivenciais que influenciam no desenvolvimento infantil e podem se expressar através dos sintomas em questão.

[en] This thesis investigates the experiences of mothers with children diagnosed with ADHD from the psychoanalytic framework. Qualitative research was performed, through interviews, with ten women with children aging from 7 to 12. The results were analyzed according to the method of content analysis. From this analysis, five categories emerged: mothers perception of children s early childhood; mothers perceptions of the symptoms and the diagnosis of ADHD of their children; recognition of similar symptomatology between the child and family members; mothers perceptions of fathers participation in children s care; and, finally, mothers perceptions of the COVID-19 pandemic repercussions on their children. The results and their analysis are presented in four articles. In the first one, mothers perceptions of the early childhood of children diagnosed with ADHD is investigated. The data indicate that it is possible to establish a relationship between difficulties experienced in early childhood and ADHD symptoms. In the second article, the perception of mothers about their children s symptoms and their diagnosis is investigated. It is observed that the identification of their children s difficulties causes distress to the mothers, representing a narcissistic wound and triggering feelings of guilt, which provoke a greater tendency to resort to biological explanations, despite the presence of a less reductionist perspective. In the third article, the relationship between ADHD, generational psychic transmission and fatherhood from mothers viewpoint is investigated. A relationship between ADHD, psychic transmission and fatherhood is verified, since, in its majority, the symptoms of the children are also identified in male figures in the family. In the fourth article, mothers perception regarding the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on their children diagnosed with ADHD is investigated. A negative effect of this period on their children is verified, and a relationship between the lack of ability of mothers to respond in a creative manner during this period of crisis to the maintenance of their faculties is noted. These difficulties seem to be intertwined with internal and early problems, which, in turn, may be related to issues and symptoms of their children. Overall, the experiences of the mothers allowed us to establish a connection between various aspects involving the subject studied, such as early childhood, family, school and social issues, among other things, and the symptoms of ADHD. It was concluded that, from a psychoanalytic stance, it is possible to investigate in a wider form the repercussions of the diverse environmental and experiential difficulties that influence child development and they can be expressed through the symptoms in question.
