[pt] O objetivo deste artigo é tratar da fundamentação trinitária da sinodalidade na Igreja. A fundamentação parte da consciência cristã de que Deus é uno na essência e trino nas pessoas. Em Deus, há uma unidade na essência divina e uma trindade de pessoas. Assim como na trindade, as pessoas divinas caminham e agem juntas, também uma Igreja sinodal deve fazer com que a colegialidade no exercício do poder, na tomada de decisões e na efetivação da missão da Igreja seja uma ação comum. O percurso metodológico abordará a trindade, principalmente o conceito de “perichoresis”, como suporte teológico da sinodalidade na Igreja; a Igreja como comunhão enquanto base eclesiológica da sinodalidade; as linhas centrais do conceito de sinodalidade e a fundamentação trinitária do discurso sinodal na Igreja. O método será realizado em diálogo com autores e documentos eclesiais que abordam o tema em questão. Os resultados do percurso consistirão em mostrar as consequências político-eclesiais da fundamentação trinitária da sinodalidade da Igreja.

[en] This article deals with the Trinitarian foundation of synodality in the Church. The foundation begins with the Christian belief that God is triune, one in its essence, three divine persons. In God there is unity in the divine essence, and a trinity of the persons. Just as in the Trinity the Divine Persons work together, in a synodal Church, collegiality in the exercise of power, the decision-making process and in carrying out the mission of the Church should be understood as a common action. The methodological path followed here will examine the Trinity, especially the concept of perichoresis, as the theological support of synodality in the Church; the Church as communion, that is the ecclesiological basis of synodality; the main lines of the concept of synodality and the Trinitarian grounding of the Church s synodal discourse. The method was conducted through dialogue with some important authors and ecclesial documents dealing with the theme in question. The results show the political and ecclesial consequences of the Trinitarian foundation of the Church synodality.
