[pt] Sem desconhecer a persistência das formas mais remotas de articulação entre intelectuais e favelas no Rio de Janeiro, este artigo trata do modo de articulação que tem predominado na cidade desde a década de 1980, com a redemocratização do país, e principalmente agora, sob a reconfiguração dos movimentos de favela e a democratização do acesso às universidades públicas. Seu principal argumento é o de que a pandemia do coronavírus acelerou um processo de inflexão quanto ao lugar ocupado pela universidade na produção de conhecimento, fazendo com que ela se tornasse, de centro dessa produção, parte de redes sociotécnicas que geram conhecimento científico em estreita articulação com organizações coletivas das favelas. Para melhor caracterizar o ponto, o artigo faz menção a um caso específico envolvendo a articulação de uma rede em torno do plano de enfrentamento da Covid-19 nas favelas.

[en] Without ignoring the persistence of the most remote forms of articulation between intellectuals and favelas in Rio de Janeiro, this article deals with the type of articulation that has predominated in the city since the 1980s, with the country s redemocratization, and especially nowadays, under reconfiguration of favela movements and the entrance democratization to public universities. The main argument is that the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated a process of inflection regarding the place occupied by the university in the production of knowledge, making it become, at the center of that production, part of socio-technical networks that generate scientific knowledge in close articulation with favela collectives organizations. To better characterize the point, the article mentions a specific case involving the articulation of a network around Covid s coping plan in the favelas.
