[pt] O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar se a JBS estaria apta a disputar a preferência dos investimentos no competitivo cenário de processamento de alimentos norte-americano mediante a sua pretensão de realizar um futuro IPO na N.Y.S.E.. Para realização da análise, foram utilizadas comparações indicadores financeiros de liquidez, endividamento, lucratividade, ciclos operacionais e financeiros, giro, rentabilidade e WACC em relação às empresas BRF, Tyson Foods, General Mills e Bunge Ltd.. Os resultados apontaram que, apesar dos piores indicadores de lucratividade atuais, a JBS possui indicadores financeiros que não fogem da média do setor comparado e a possibilitarão disputar futuramente a preferência dos investimentos no setor.
Resumo
[en] The following study has the purpose of analysing if JBS would be prepared to dispute the preference of the investments at the competitive north american scenary of food processing since the company is willing to make an IPO at the N.Y.S.E.. To do so, the following study compares JBS S.A. financial indicators of liquidity, leverage, profitability, operational and financial cycles, turnover and WACC to BRF, Tyson Foods, General Mills and Bunge Ltd.. The results showed that dispite JBS worst performance of annual profitability, the remaining financial indicators are on average for the compared sector and will allow the company to dispute in the future the preference of investments at food processing sector.
