Resumo
[pt] Esta pesquisa objetivou analisar o estilo emocional dos líderes do varejo da moda, visando à compreensão de suas habilidades da inteligência emocional, a partir do modelo de Mayer, Salovey e Caruso (2002). O artigo inicia com um referencial teórico que pretende introduzir os conceitos de liderança, características e atributos da liderança, a inteligência emocional assim como os pilares que compõem tal habilidade. Após a introdução teórica, se inicia uma pesquisa por meio de um questionário, para avaliar estes conjuntos de habilidades em líderes empreendedores que atuam no varejo da moda, dispondo como ponto seguinte a apuração dos resultados da pesquisa. O estudo segue com uma conclusão e considerações finais sobre o tema, focando na importância da inteligência emocional para o desempenho eficaz e eficiente dos líderes.
Resumo
[en] This research seeks to analyze the emotional style of fashion retail leaders, especially the understanding of which emotional intelligence skills leaders have. The article begins with a theoretical framework that intends to introduce the concepts of leadership, traits and attributes of leadership, emotional intelligence as well as the pillars that make up such a skill. After the theoretical introduction, a qualitative research is started with a questionnaire to evaluate these sets of skills in entrepreneurial leaders who work in fashion retail, with the next point being the verification of the research results. The study follows with a conclusion and final considerations on the topic, focusing on the importance of emotional intelligence for the effective and efficient performance of leaders.
