[pt] Este projeto tem como objetivo desenvolver um simulador para a hibridização de uma planta de incineração de resíduos sólidos usando uma abordagem waste-to-energy. O ciclo Rankine é alimentado pelo calor liberado pela reação de combustão dos resíduos e o superaquecimento e o reaquecimento do vapor estão garantidos pelo ciclo a gás. A hibridização consiste na utilização de coletores solares para aproveitar a energia térmica proveniente da radiação solar para deslocar parte da demanda do ciclo a gás. O projeto visa tanto a avaliar a sustentabilidade como o retorno financeiro dessa hibridização. Na planta híbrida, foi obtido um aumento de eficiência de 28 por cento para 32 por cento. Também houve um modesto ganho de eficiência ecológica (de 89 por cento para 90 por cento). Financeiramente, foi obtido um payback de 5 anos.
Resumo
[en] This project aims to develop a simulator to hybridize an urban solid waste incineration plant using a waste-to-energy approach. The Rankine cycle is powered by the heat released by burning waste and the overheating and reheating of steam are assured by the gas cycle. The hybridization consists in using solar collectors to apply the thermal energy from solar radiation to mitigate part of the gas cycle s demand. This work pursues to evaluate not only sustainability, but also the financial return of the hybridization. On the hybrid plant, the thermal efficiency increased from 28 per cent to 32 per cent . There was also a subtle rise in the ecological efficiency (from 89 per cent to 90 per cent). Financially, the payback obtained was 5 years.
