[pt] O estudo se debruça sobre o conceito de pobres com espírito, que I. Ellacuría elabora a partir de sua leitura das bem-aventuranças, tomando como chave interpretativa a proclamação que Jesus faz conforme o evangelho de Lc 6,20. Parte-se da compreensão do texto de Mt 5,1-12 e de Lc 6,20-23 e se desenvolve sua relação com o conceito em questão, que o teólogo utiliza para refletir sobre os pobres que procuram assumir seu lugar na sociedade e na Igreja de forma consciente à luz da fé. A noção de pobre com espírito ou povo com espírito aponta para o reconhecimento dos pobres como sujeito de libertação enquanto cidadão e como cristão comprometido com a justiça, a paz e a solidariedade.2 Como sujeito que busca sua libertação, os pobres que são movidos pela fé cristã formam a Igreja dos pobres, cuja Carta magna são as bem-aventuranças. Tal visão eclesiológica encontra sua relevância e atualidade na orientação atual do Magistério que convoca toda a Igreja a viver autenticamente sua vocação que é essencialmente missioária, a Igreja em saída, e tudo o que envolve esse compromisso.

[en] This study focuses on the concept of poor with spirit, which I. Ellacuría elaborates from his refl ection on the beatitudes, taking the proclamation that Jesus brings as an interpreting key according to the Gospel of Luke 6:20. It proceeds from the understanding of the text Matthew 5:1-12 and Luke 6:20-23 and develops its relationship with the concept in debate which the theologian uses so as to reflect on the poor who seek to assume their respective place in the society and in the Church, being conscious in the light of faith. The notion of poor with spirit or people with spirit 4 points to the recognition of the poor as a subject of liberation, as a citizen and as a Christian committed to justice, peace and solidarity. As the subjects who are seeking their liberation, the poor who are moved by the Christian faith constitute the Church of the poor and their Magna Carta claims to be the beatitudes. Such an ecclesiological vision fi nds its relevance and actuality in the current guidance of the Magisterium, which invites the universal Church to authentically live its vocation, which is essentially being a missionary, the outgoing Church and everything that involves this commitment.
