[pt] O tema do estudo é o impacto do processo de sucessão no relacionamento entre fundador e sucessor nos núcleos familiar e empresarial. Na revisão de literatura são abordadas as características e conceitos de empresa familiar, as características do relacionamento existente entre as partes que compõem a empresa familiar e o processo sucessório. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com fundadores e sucessores de três empresas de pequeno porte em processo de sucessão familiar, localizadas no Rio de Janeiro, dos ramos têxtil, educacional e alimentício. Dos resultados, observou-se grande interferência entre os núcleos familiar e empresarial na relação entre fundador e sucessor, com foco na perpetuação da empresa e valorização da confiança.
Resumo
[en] The theme of the study is the impact of the succession process on the relationship between founder and successor in the family and business nuclei. The literature review addresses the characteristics and concepts of family business, the characteristics of the relationship between the parties that make up the family business and the succession process. The field research was conducted with founders and successors of three small companies in the process of family succession, located in Rio de Janeiro, belonging to textile, educational and food sectors. About the results, there was big interference between the family and business nuclei in the relationship between founder and successor, focusing on the perpetuation of the company and appreciation of trust.
