[pt] A manufatura aditiva aliada à otimização topológica contribui positivamente para o desenvolvimento de estruturas com design inovador e com peso reduzido. No entanto, algumas características deste processo, como por exemplo, a necessidade de material de suporte, podem comprometer o comportamento mecânico da estrutura final. Neste trabalho, o Método de Otimização Topológica será aplicado ao projeto de uma viga com o objetivo de obter a máxima rigidez para um dado volume de material. Além disso, a estrutura será avaliada numericamente utilizando um modelo em elementos finitos através do programa ANSYS, incorporando não linearidades físicas e geométricas.

[en] The additive manufacturing coupled with topology optimization contributes positively to the development of lightweight structures and innovative design. However, some features of this process, such as the necessity of support material, may compromise the behaviour of the final structure. In this work, the Topology Optimization Method will be applied to the design of a beam with the objective of obtaining the maximum stiffness for a given volume of material. In addition, the structure will be evaluated numerically using a finite element model through the ANSYS program, incorporating physical and geometric nonlinearities.
