Resumo
[pt] O texto, apresentado como conferência de encerramento do XII CONSIPLE, discorre sobre aspectos interculturais da cultura brasileira a partir da tese de que uma maior aproximação dos estudantes estrangeiros e estudantes brasileiros que não têm a oportunidade de fazerem intercâmbio internacional pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento de competência intercultural dos últimos, tornando-os cidadãos do mundo. Com esse objetivo, aborda questões várias da área do Português como Segunda Língua para Estrangeiros (PL2E), tais como a formação do professor, conceitos teóricos do Interculturalismo, políticas linguísticas, acolhimento de
estudantes internacionais nos campi de universidades brasileiras. Conclui propondo atividades práticas de aproximação dos estudantes brasileiros e internacionais.
Resumo
[en] The text, presented as the closing conference of the XII CONSIPLE, discusses intercultural aspects of Brazilian culture based on the thesis that a closer relationship between foreign students and Brazilian students who do not have the opportunity to make international exchanges can contribute to the development of intercultural competence of the latter, making them citizens of the world. With this goal, it addresses various issues in the area of Portuguese as a Second Language for International Students (PL2E), such as teacher training, theoretical concepts of Interculturalism, language policies, and the reception of international students on Brazilian university campuses. It concludes by proposing practical activities for bringing Brazilian and international students together.
