Resumo
[en] The aim of this article is to analyze the translation of six songs composed by Vinicius de Moraes and translated into Italian by Sergio Bardotti. We analyzed the translated songs according to the thirteen translation modalities proposed by Aubert (1998). The results indicated how the translator fitted the texts into the melody and harmony of the songs. This preliminary study hopes to demonstrate how the translation process occurs when the target text must fit into a pre-established music structure.
