[pt] Este trabalho tem como objetivo refletir sobre o impacto que os estereótipos podem
causar no ensino de PL2E provocando possíveis comportamentos reducionistas em
relação à cultura do outro. Assim, utilizamos o interculturalismo como pressuposto
teórico de mediação do processo de ensino-aprendizagem como instrumento de reflexão
e intervenção dos possíveis estranhamentos que ora surgem nos cruzamentos
interculturais. Para isso, faremos um breve percurso teórico sobre língua e cultura
presentes em Hall (1998), Singer (1998), Barna (1998) e Kramsch (2017), sobre o
interculturalismo em Meyer (2013) e Mendes (2004) e, por fim, tratamos sobre
estereótipos à luz de Lippmann (1998), Espíndola (2010) e Byram e Morgan (1993).
Resumo
[en] The goal of this work is to reflect upon the impact that stereotypes can cause in PL2E teaching, causing possible reductionist behaviors towards the cultures of others. Therefore, we use interculturalism as a theoretical presupposition for mediating the process of teaching and learning as an instrument of reflection and intervention into possible intercultural clashes. For this end, we will go through a brief theoretical tour on language and cultures, as found in Hall (1998), Singer (1998), Barna (1998) and Kramsch (2017), on interculturalism in Meyer (2013) and Mendes (2004) and finally, we will approach stereotypes in the view of Lippmann (1998), Espíndola (2010) and Byram and Morgan (1993).
