[pt] Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem por objetivo estudar sobre o comprometimento da memória que influencia na doença de Alzheimer. A metodologia utilizada foi à revisão bibliográfica, através da consulta de livros, onde foi feito um levantamento bibliográfico sobre o assunto. Os resultados evidenciam compreender como a Doença de Alzheimer (DA) é o tipo mais comum de Demência, onde o sintoma inicial é a amnésia, caracterizada por um déficit progressivo da memória. Sintomas esses que estão relacionados onde as regiões temporais mediais, em especial o hipocampo e o córtex entorrinal estão prejudicadas. É uma doença degenerativa, progressiva e que afeta o cérebro.

[en] This study aims to study the neurobiological factors of memory that influence Alzheimer s disease. The methodology used was the bibliographical review, through the consultation of books, where a bibliographic survey on the subject was made. The results demonstrate how Alzheimer s disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia, where the initial symptom is amnesia, characterized by progressive memory deficit. These symptoms are related where the temporal temporal regions, especially the hippocampus and the entorhinal cortex are impaired. It is a degenerative, progressive disease that affects the brain.
