[pt] O presente trabalho visa entender a importância que a qualidade do atendimento do restaurante Joaquina teve no período de crise que o país ultrapassou, focalizando na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que enfrenta diariamente problemas relacionados à violência, que refletiram nos hábitos de consumo da sociedade carioca. Torna-se necessário entender o peso que o nível de serviço de um local possui para a escolha do consumidor, entendendo os conceitos de marketing de serviço e marketing de experiências, e o motivo do Joaquina não ter sofrido grandes consequências negativas nos últimos anos de instabilidade econômica.

[en] This presentation aims to understand the importance that the quality of Joaquina s restaurant service had during the crisis period the country underwent, focusing on the city of Rio de Janeiro, that faces daily problems related to violence that reflected on the city s population S expenditure habits. It becomes necessary to understand the weight that the service of a place has on the consumer s decision, understanding the concepts of service marketing and experience marketing, and the reason why Joaquina has not suffered big negative consequences in the past few years of economic instability.
