[pt] Partindo do terreno das ocupações estaduais de 2016 em Niterói-RJ, este artigo objetiva analisar, sob a lente da Sociolinguística Interacional, da Análise da Narrativa e dos estudos discursivos sobre gênero e poder, como narrativas de estudantes-ocupantes constroem suas identidades e tensionam o princípio da horizontalidade desses movimentos. Os dados apontam para a construção do empoderamento feminino no lugar da mãe, de um lado, e para a narrativa heroica de protagonismo masculino, de outro.
Resumo
[en] Focusing on the context of the occupations of Brazilian schools in Niteroi in 2016, this article analyzes how the narratives of the occupying students constructed their identities and challenged the notion of the horizontality of this social movement, drawing on interactional sociolinguistics, narrative inquiry, and discourse analysis of gender and power. The data point to the construction of female empowerment in the mother s place, and a heroic narrative of male protagonism.
