[pt] Vasos de pressão são dispositivos de fundamental importância na engenharia utilizados para armazenar fluidos em condições desejadas e projetados para resistir a carregamentos internos, externos e gradientes de temperatura. O presente trabalho se destina a analisar o projeto do vaso de pressão VP-CTVP-E-01 à luz das divisões 1 e 2 da seção VIII e do apêndice A da seção XI da ASME. Mais especificamente, serão estimadas a vida útil do referido vaso à fadiga e, subsequentemente, postulando-se a existência de uma trinca desde o início de sua operação.

[en] Pressure vessels are critical engineering devices used to store fluids under desired conditions and designed to withstand internal, external and temperature gradients. The present work is aimed at analyzing the design of the pressure vessel VP-CTVP-E-01 in light of divisions 1 and 2 of section VIII and appendix A of section XI of ASME standards. More specifically, the useful life of the vessel will be estimated to fatigue and, subsequently, postulated the existence of a crack from the beginning of its operation.
