[pt] Neste projeto, foram avaliadas as possibilidades de melhoria na contagem de esferas abrasivas, cuja finalidade é a limpeza de dutos de um trocador de calor. Ensaios foram feitos por meio de uma bancada de testes desenvolvida como Projeto Final em Engenharia Mecânica pela PUC-Rio de Kim Carvalho Oliveira, que simula o sistema injetor desse processo de limpeza. Para o funcionamento adequado do sistema, todas as esferas inseridas devem ser coletadas ao final do processo e, para isso, foi desenvolvido um sistema opto-eletrônico para uma contagem automática das mesmas. O objetivo do presente projeto foi aperfeiçoar o sistema previamente desenvolvido para a contagem das esferas, permitindo a operação em meios muito turvos.
Resumo
[en] In this project, the possibilities of improvement in the counting of cleaning spheres, whose purpose is the cleaning of the ducts of a heat exchanger, were evaluated. Tests were done through a test bench developed as a Final Project in Mechanical Engineering by PUC-Rio by Kim Carvalho de Oliveira that simulates the injector system of this cleaning process. For the proper functioning of the system, all the spheres inserted must be collected at the end of the process and, for this reason, an opto-electronic system was developed for an automatic counting of the spheres. The objective of this project was to improve the previously developed system for counting the spheres, allowing the operation in very cloudy waters.
