[pt] Nos capítulos 21,9–22,5 do livro do Apocalipse, a pregação da visão chega ao seu auge na imagem que envolve tanto a Igreja como a Humanidade. O casamento fora já previsto e está por começar e por isso surge a visão da esposa do cordeiro. A salvação humana, segundo a antiga tradição profética do Antigo Testamento, prevê uma íntima união entre Deus e o seus eleitos. De um lado, a visão da purificação pela dor, pelo combate, pelo martírio; do outro, o conforto, uma realidade nova desce de Deus. A Nova Cidade, Jerusalém, é ao mesmo tempo a Igreja e toda e a Humanidade. Como Sacramento, é a Igreja/ Cidade, em suas ruas, muros e, sobretudo em sua (a praça), o lugar em que se reúnem os justos resgatados sob a claridade Divina, do Dia sem Ocaso, o Sol dominical, que é Cristo, tendo os Doze, como sedes de Justiça, Julgamento e Testemunho.

[en] In chapters 21.9 to 22.5 of the Book of Revelation, the preaching of vision reaches its zenith in the image involving both the Church and humanity. The wedding had been already planned and is about to begin and so comes the vision of the Lamb s wife. Human salvation, according to the ancient prophetic tradition of the Old Testament provides an intimate union between God and his chosen ones. On the one hand, the vision of purification by pain, by fighting, by martyrdom, on the other, comfort, a new reality comes down from God. The New City, Jerusalem is both the Church and all humanity. As Sacrament is the Church/City, in its streets, walls and especially in his (the square) the place where we gather the righteous rescued under the Divine light, on the Day without End, on the Sunday Sun, which is Christ, and have the twelve, as Justice headquarters, Trial and Testimonies.
