Resumo
[en] The Second language acquisition area has been exhaustively explored. Several research studies have been conducted in an effort to better understand the process of acquiring a foreign language and the variables involved in it. One of the most popular variables is the age factor, which is the mainstream of this paper. In this study, I intend to offer the reader an emic point of view shared by language teachers, and an overview of the most important findings relating second language acquisition and age.
