[pt] A presente comunicação trata-se de uma pesquisa que analisa a presença do verbo (splangxnizomai, mover-se ou ser movido de compaixão, comover-se) e suas ocorrências nos evangelhos sinóticos. Foi feita uma breve investigação desde as origens do termo no grego clássico, passando pelo uso do mesmo na LXX e outros escritos pré-cristãos para identificar a evolução do seu sentido primitivo até o uso exclusivamente teológico, caracterizando ações compassivas narradas nos evangelhos sinóticos. Então, foi realizada uma análise comparativa ressaltando as semelhanças e diferenças entre o uso do verbo nos evangelhos de Marcos e Mateus em comparação com o evangelho de Lucas. Embora usado poucas vezes, mas aplicado em situações pontuais dentro dos evangelhos, o termo caracteriza o agir messiânico de Jesus, que, diante de situações cruciais em que se defrontava, era movido de compaixão e agia para solucionar a situação.

[en] This communication is about an investigation of the presence of the verb (splangxnizomai, move or to be moved with compassion, be touched with pity) and its occurrences in the synoptic gospels. We made a brief investigation of the origins of the term in the classical Greek, besides the use by the LXX and others pre-Christian writings, aiming to identify the evolution of its primitive sense until its exclusively theological use, featuring compassionate actions narrated in the synoptic gospels. Thus, we made a comparative analysis, highlighting with the gospel of Luke. Although used a few times, but applied in specific situations in the gospels, the term characterizes the messianic actions of Jesus, who, in crucial situations, he was moved with compassion and acted up to fix the situations.
