[pt] As narrativas veterotestamentárias não foram compostas, originalmente, somente para preservar a memória de certos acontecimentos, mas, também, para sustentar uma tese teológica ou para ilustrar que o fato tornou-se significativo no processo da formação da identidade do antigo Israel. Por diversos fatores, é difícil para o ouvinte-leitor atual a percepção do significado que poderia ter sido óbvio para o autor antigo e seu público alvo. Admite-se que existia uma finalidade entre as narrativas bíblicas e a literatura de fiction, pois ambas pertencem ao gênero narrativo. A presente comunicação subdivide-se em dois momentos. No primeiro, de cunho teórico, apresentam-se os recursos da moderna ciência da linguagem, bem como do método de análise narrativa, partindo do pressuposto de que o autor fez uso de antigas formas literárias presentes na cultura hebraica. No segundo, de cunho prático, pontos significativos da análise narrativa são aplicados ao texto de Gênesis 22, mostrando que a trama não tem a pretensão única de edificar, mas quer, igualmente, comover e envolver o ouvinte-leitor, fazendo-o entrar nas aflições de cada personagem, a participar do drama, a recompor uma experiência, a se tornar ativamente consciente das forças que o confrontam, seguindo, nos tempos da leitura, as etapas de seu percurso.

[en] The Old Testament narratives, originally, have been composed not just to preserve the memory of some events, but also to sustain a Theological thesis or to show the value of the event in the formation process of the Ancient Israel’s identity. By many factors, it is difficult to the current listened-reader understand the meaning that was obvious to the ancient author and his audience. We know that there was a purpose between the biblical narratives and the fiction literature, both belong to the same kind of narrative. This presentation presents two moments. The first, theoretic, presents the resources of the modern language science, also the narrative analysis’ method, admit that the author used ancient literary forms of Hebrew culture. In the second, practical, important points of the narrative analysis will be apply in Genesis 22, showing that the text does not have the unique intention to build the listened-reader, but also wants move and get involved him, makes him to enter in the affliction suffered by each character, to participate in the drama, to live an experience, to be conscious about the forces that face him, keep going, in reading times, the steps of his route.
