[pt] Durante o desenvolvimento do projeto de conclusão de curso de Design de Produto, houve a necessidade de tornar o tema Design de Produção para o filme em stop motion O Faz de Conta de Heitor como sendo pertinente ao design de produtos. Através da aplicação da metodologia de desenvolvimento de produtos, buscou-se avaliar a participação potencial do profissional de design de produtos nesta área de atuação. O propósito deste artigo é apresentar a metodologia aplicada ao projeto e, então, indicar um possível caminho de pesquisa e de trabalho para o design, voltado à produção cultural.

[en] During the development of the Industrial Design dissertation project, it was necessary to make the theme Design Production for the stop motion film O Faz de Conta de Heitor as being relevant to the industrial design. By applying the methodology of product development, we sought to evaluate the potential participation of the Industrial Design professional in this area. The purpose of this paper is to present the methodology applied to the project and then indicate a possible area of research and work for the design, focused on cultural production.
