[pt] Este estudo busca identificar o estilo Lo-Fi como a expressão da baixa qualidade nas produções de design gráfico, agregando a análise do caráter intencional ou não-intencional na aplicação de critérios de execução do estilo. Como ponto de partida registra-se uma discussão teórica sobre o tema para estabelecer as dimensões estilísticas através das características do design pós-moderno, inserindo exemplos vernaculares do design Lo-Fi. O âmbito da música experimental vanguardista e do movimento brasileiro Tecnobrega serviram como base para a produção de um quadro de referências do estilo, meios de produção e técnicas visuais, com o objetivo de sintetizar o perfil do design Lo-Fi.

[en] In this study seeks to identify the style Lo-Fi as the expression of low quality in the production of graphic design, adding character analysis intentional or unintentional application of criteria for the application of style. As a starting point it shows a theoretical discussion on the topic to establish the dimensions through the stylistic characteristics of the post-modern design, inserting examples of vernacular design Lo-Fi. The scope of experimental music and avant-garde movement of the Brazilian Tecnobrega served as the basis for producing a frame of reference style, means of production and visual techniques in order to synthesize the design Lo-Fi.
