[en] How to think and create, from a society that is moving rapidly in depth and a school model that exploits the potential of ICTs, have strong disciplinary bases and welcome the challenges of today. Latin America has a different worldview result of a syncretic perspective encounter between the individual and the collective and their educational systems do not facilitate the conversion, at least in the dimensions of access to information, knowledge management, relationship with the labor market, employment technologies and socialization in the culture of the time. We need an arts education can culturize for understanding the real situation of individuals from the artistic products made in specific terms and cultures and develop a critical awareness to the social imaginary, both cultural differences and respect human dignity, solidarity, tolerance, freedom of expression, respect for diversity and intercultural dialogue.

[es] Cómo pensar y crear, desde una sociedad que está mudando en profundidad y aceleradamente con un modelo escolar que aproveche las posibilidades de las TIC, tenga sólidas bases disciplinares y acoja los retos del mundo actual. Latinoamérica tiene una cosmovisión diferente fruto de una perspectiva sincrética de encuentro entre lo individual y lo colectivo y sus sistemas educativos no facilitan la transformación, al menos en las dimensiones de acceso a la información, manejo de conocimientos, relación con el mercado laboral, empleo de tecnologías y socialización en la cultura de la época. Necesitamos una Educación Artística capaz de culturizar para la comprensión de la situación real de los individuos a partir de los productos artísticos realizados en términos y culturas determinadas y desarrolle una conciencia crítica ante el imaginario social, tanto sobre las diferencias culturales como en el respeto a la dignidad humana, solidaridad, tolerancia, libertad de expresión, respeto de la diversidad y diálogo intercultural.
