[en] In this paper the extension of Wiener-Hopf design to
irrational transfer functions is investigated.
Infinite-dimensional servomechanisms are considered. A
spectral factorization theorem and an optimization result
are showed conditioned by the necessity to have a bounded
Youla s parameter, i.e., an optimal Youla s parameter in
the Hardy class H. Some ideas are presented to solve this
last problem by the use of an auxiliary constrained
optimal control problem.
