Resumo:
This work aims to analyze impacts on energy efficiency in a photovoltaic system, thus showing that better studied systems tend to have higher yields in solar photovoltaic use. In this way, it is possible to prove that the choice of the plant implementation site, considering the solar irradiation, varies depending on the location, as well as the proper choice of equipment. Besides, the operating temperature must be considered as a determining factor for efficiency. In this work we analyze, among the different technologies available, the impact of the operating temperature, which ones can have higher yields and evaluates the determining factors for solar exploitation by photovoltaic generation, such as irradiance. Thus, the centralized and distributed generation are considered to highlight the real impacts on the efficiency of photovoltaic projects. The proper choice of equipment must consider the operating temperature as a determining factor for efficiency. Because, as we can see in the projects presented in the course of this work, it is a big factor in the loss of efficiency, between 10.5 per cent and 11 per cent in the simulations carried out in the proposed projects. The impact of temperature on different installation arrangements indicated that efficiency is dependent on the installation used. In other words, in free arrangements, typical of centralized plants, the impact of temperature is smaller, if compared to installations integrated to buildings commonly used for distributed generation applications.
