This work is a research on Baptist churches, their origin and characteristics, as well as their evolution in liturgical practice until the present day; what factors influenced and determined the form of baptism services and how leadership deals with the behavior of the faithful in times of postmodern culture. It goes through a brief description of the Baptist World Alliance and a history of theories as to the origin of Baptists and the influences suffered by that denomination through the centuries, which marks identify this group, and other factors that have affected its identity in the last decades. The liturgy of worship should be an element that identifies a Christian church and its basis is in the Bible,(?) from ancient times to the early apostolic church, but its understanding is divergent and, with other themes, it has already generated conflicts among Christians, being the one with the greatest repercussion, the Protestant Reformation, whose effects were never overcome. Is it possible to recover a significant relationship between church and worship? In this search, Christian churches have always sought to perfect and improve their way of being a church, experimenting with different organizational models and functional dynamics. However, one must not lose sight of the biblical reference, which is in fact essential in worship for it to be acceptable to the Lord, because in view of all this, it is understood that more than organization, the church is a living organism, more than events and cults, the most important is Be what you celebrate.
