The social research has classed as qualitative and indutive, based theorical and methodologically on the historical and dialectical materialism where had been realized narrative interviews to four people between 19 and 62 year old that iniciate their legal action of civil register of late birth on 2019 by The Specialized Itinerant Justice in under-registration of State of Rio de Janeiro. The study purpose to comprehend the social relations that people non-civil registrated established for your social reprodution in a society where the individual existence is submitted to legal formality. Was employed the triangulation feature of techniques in research, including documental analysis, production of quantitative data from consultation questionnaire from participating institution and observation. The interpretation method of sense under the hermeneutical dialectical perpective was embraced for a analysis of narratives. The results indicate the determination of the Brazilian sociohistorical formation process and the growth of a population without basic documentation after the abolition of slavery. Furthermore, it indicates the necessary relationship between the racial issue and the expressions of the Brazilian social matter; the centrality of the research in social relations and resistence to survive a undocumented life.
