Resumo:
This project aims to develop a pedagogical model on Patient Safety theme, for medical graduation, using active teaching-learning methodologies. It started from the need to prepare the TCC - End of Job Specialization Teacher Education in Medicine and Health Sciences: New Methodologies, given by the Life Sciences Center and PUC-Rio Health Department, concluded in April 2015. It served as a reference for the elaboration of the pedagogical proposal. The documents Proposal for Contemporary Medical Graduation - PUC-Rio model, published in 2011 and the National Curriculum Guidelines for Medical Graduation , published in 2014. For the preparation of Patient Safety content was used the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the National Patient Safety Program, launched by the Ministry of Health in April 2013 and whose main challenge is to change the culture of safety among health care providers. Understanding that culture change involves long-term work and especially with young people, this is an excellent opportunity for the project preparation.
