This study examines the viewpoints of adolescents who face stigma when they enter the work world. The current job market exacerbates this problem. The following questions are examined. How do the new demands of the job market impact stigmatized teenagers? What impact do the labels, lower-income, marginalized, and delinquent have? These identities are socially constructed and draw on ascriptions of ethnicity, education, and the fact of exclusion from basic rights. These students are particularly impacted by unemployment, the informal job market, and rapid job turnovers. The ascriptions made to them contribute to the infringement of their basic rights. This identity is constituted socially; marking an exposed the vulnerability contexts group by issues of poverty, ethnicity, education, discrimination and exclusion from access to basic rights. Thus, these adolescents carry stigmas and stereotypes that contribute to segregation in urban areas, mainly in achieving work. This study allowed some relevant thoughts on the protagonists of research, such as these are likely to have limited opportunities and will be even more affected by the structural changes of work: unemployment, informality, turnover, among others. Their access to certain rights are being achieved by restricting the right to freedom, demonstrating an inverted logic of the proposal developed by the principle of full protection. These are some of the questions that seem very present in the lives of these young people and may be related to high recurrence and motivations for infringement, as discussed in this dissertation.
